70s Home Renovation Before & After Home Tour
This is a home renovation project that we completed for our clients a year ago, so we're a little late on getting this video out. Better late than never. This family of 4 were the sweetest people with two super cute little ones, especially the daughter (I'm all about girls!) Jennifer, the mom/wife was on it! She had a very detailed project list ready to go. It was very clear that she had given this a lot of thought and just needed to pull the trigger to get it done. They had a finite budget and like everyone, a long wish list. In the end, I think we were able to achieve about 85-90% of their wishes while taking care of a lot of little cosmetic things that made a big difference to their every day living like lighting in the hallway. Seems insignificant until you're living the after and you can actually see through what used to be a black hole.What made the process much easier for the homeowners and the construction team was that the family was able to move out during the renovation. Fortunately, Jennifer's parents lived nearby so they spent some quality family time together while their home underwent a transformation. As always, construction is messy and dusty so any time you can stay away during the process, you will be happier for it. They were anxious to get back in as soon as possible and we did everything in our power to make that happen.
