Beautifully Remodeled Fremont Home Is On The Market

So the project I've been working on the last few weeks is officially on the market. I'm a little late in getting this post up, but we completed the renovations, got everything cleaned up, had the property staged, and it's officially FOR SALE..yay!The Listing Agent, Michelle Kim, hosted a very successful Broker's Tour on Thursday and had two very high traffic public open houses this weekend, Saturday and Sunday.The feedback so far has been very positive. The kitchen is getting very nice reviews as well as the rest of the house. I'm very excited for the homeowners. The best part about this entire process is, two other homes on the adjacent streets also just came on the market - one is the exact same floor plan. Of course, I had to go check out the competition. Um...what competition? I actually asked the agent, "so the homeowner's didn't want to fix it up before they went on the market?' Her response, "this is fixed up." Yikes. There were boxes everywhere, thick cobwebs hanging from the ceiling...I don't even want to imagine what the BEFORE looked like. Oh well, it just makes my project property looks even more like a rockstar! The other property the next street over was not nearly as bad, but pretty close. The bedrooms all had very personalized paint colors and NOT marketable colors at that - pink, dark blue (with writing all over it), dark purple, you get the idea. I went to see it with my daughter and here are her exact words when we left the house..."l don't like this house. It's dirty and aren't you supposed to fix it up BEFORE you sell it? What's the point of that?! I don't get it." Seriously, I couldn't make this up...
