Friday Faves 6.9.17 | Lazy Susan/Mr. Beams/Swiffer

Happy Friday! I don't know why I'm so excited to share my Friday Faves with you, but I really am.  These are products that make my life at home easier and I sing their praises because of that.First, let's start with Mr. Beams.  I like this guy so much! He looks good, is battery operated and is motions sensored. I have one in my entry closet because without it, it's a black hole! I have put these in my client's closets when we're just doing a quick makeover and we're not in full renovation mode. It's less invasive than cutting into the drywall and hard wiring for recessed lighting. It literally screws into the ceiling, uses four D batteries and voila, it works! and it's a really nice, bright light. I would put this in my little hallway to the powder room if it wasn't a sensor light because that hallway has zero light and is so dark! But wait, while I was pulling the links for the motion sensor Mr. Beam, I happened upon Mr. Beams' cousin, the Ready Bright Wireless light.  It's NOT motion sensored but rather, remote control operated...what?!!! SOLD!!! I've already ordered one. This is exactly what I needed. It's made for power failures. That's cool, but I need it for every day.  I just don't need it to light up every time we walk into the kitchen which is right next to said dark hallway.  I will keep you posted on how I like it, I have a feeling... ;)Next up is the Lazy Susan.  These are genius. I have one next to my stove, in my cabinets for my most used spices, and under my bathroom cabinet for all the cleaning supplies.  I install these in my client's pantries for organizational purposes. They're so functional because they swivel. If you need something, you don't need to dig through the cabinet and shuffle through rows of other things to get to the one item. It turns and you can easily access whatever it is you need. Genius I tell ya!  There's so many different styles too.  Choose what works best with your aesthetic.  I have included affiliate links below for your shopping convenience.  Amazon Prime...you'll get it within 2 days!Last, but certainly not least is my absolute favorite cleaning tool...the Swiffer Mop!  Ever since laminate floors came on the scene about 20 years ago, I've been using a swiffer mop.  The flat head that swivels so you can get under cabinets and around corners is a girl's best friend. The dry cloths are what I use almost daily to dust the floors. I use them in my client's homes and usually purchase a kit for them on their behalf. Unless you are mopping the floors daily, there's no way you can pick up all the dust and dirt on the floor with a traditional broom. All a traditional broom does it flick the dust around - pointless! The electrostatic dry cloths are like magnets for dust.  There's also the wet cloths which I use to clean my bathroom floors or at job sites when the dry cloths are just no enough.  Take it from one pretty OCD clean freak, if you have hardwood or laminate floors, even tile (with tighter grout lines), you need a Swiffer and if you have a Swiffer, you need to use it regularly!!If anyone from Swiffer is reading this, I would like one of those giant boxes that you send to the people in your  commercials sent to me.  I am and will be your walking testimonial!!!Hope you found these tips and products helpful. Leave me a comment and let me know what you use and if I've convinced you you need these items in your life. I wouldn't recommend them if I didn't use them every day in my own house. Enjoy your weekend!
